Role OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Specialist Events who can drive growth by identifying and converting business opportunities in the experiential and events space. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a proven knack for selling event concepts, building long-term client relationships, and delivering integrated solutions that combine creativity, technology, and flawless execution.
This role requires a strong understanding of the event and brand activation ecosystem and the ability to position Storm's expertise to both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and pursue new clients in the events, activations, and experiential marketing domain.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve set revenue and business growth targets.
- Maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry research.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with brand managers, marketing heads, and procurement teams.
- Understand client marketing goals and challenges to propose customized event solutions.
- Act as the liaison between clients and internal creative, production, and operations teams.
3.Sales & Pitching:
- Prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and presentations for client pitches.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.
- Ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction post-sale.
4.Market Research & Industry Insights:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new opportunities in the experiential space.
- Share insights with the leadership and strategy teams to refine business positioning.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 36 years of experience in event sales, brand activations, or experiential marketing(Agency /Media - Radio/ TV)
- Strong client network and understanding of event production processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in teams.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
