Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for driving sales of Indstaal's pre-engineered building solutions. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and site visits, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from inquiry to order closure. The Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project teams to align solutions with customer requirements and specifications. Daily activities include maintaining a robust sales pipeline, nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients, tracking market trends and competitors, and providing regular sales reports and forecasts. The role also includes attending industry events, coordinating product presentations, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction, engineering, steel structures, or pre-engineered buildings.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and basic engineering concepts related to building systems.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for sales reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, conduct regular client visits, and travel as needed for business development.
  • Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric mindset, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
