Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive, driven, and people-oriented Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Pune. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on driving admissions, nurturing customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience to parents and students.
The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and passionate about sales.
Having a musical background or being a musician is a strong plus, as it helps in understanding the needs of students and communicating the value of our programs more effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and convert potential leads into enrolled students
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, students, and partners
- Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact for inquiries
- Conduct product presentations and guide parents through our curriculum, offerings, and value
- Deliver onboarding and product training to new customers
- Collaborate with internal teams (teaching, operations, marketing) to support smooth admissions
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly targets
- Maintain accurate records, follow-ups, and communication in CRM tools
- Participate in events, demos, and outreach activities to grow the BodhiTree community
- Analyze prospect behaviour and feedback to continually improve sales pitches and processes
Qualifications & Skills- Strong communication skills with a friendly, persuasive, and confident manner
- Excellent customer service mindset with the ability to build long-term relationships
- Proficiency in sales techniques and demonstrated ability to close deals
- Experience in Sales Management and strategy development is an advantage
- Ability to conduct product training and explain offerings clearly to customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is highly beneficial
- Musical knowledge or being a musician is a bonus and will be given preference
