We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable ELV/BMS Sales Engineer to promote and sell our ELV and BMS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ELV/BMS systems, combined with sales experience in the industry, to successfully meet sales targets and build lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ELV/BMS solutions within assigned territory.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Generate inquiries, manage leads, and follow up with potential clients.
2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Provide technical support and recommendations tailored to client needs.
3. Project and Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on ELV/BMS products, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, energy management, and HVAC control systems.
- Collaborate with the technical team to customize solutions based on client specifications and project requirements.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approach.
- Identify potential projects, key stakeholders, and market opportunities for ELV/BMS products.
5. Proposal and Quotation Management:
- Prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
- Ensure all proposals align with project requirements, pricing guidelines, and company objectives.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the CRM.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, specifically in ELV or BMS industry.
- Strong knowledge of ELV/BMS systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and energy management systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with major ELV/BMS brands such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls.
- Familiarity with project-based sales in the construction, commercial, or industrial sectors.
Work Conditions:
- Primarily field-based, with frequent client visits.
- Some travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
