The Opportunity:
In the Indian D2C landscape, the Moment of Truth happens at the Checkout. Despite massive marketing spends, brands lose 70% of their customers at the final step due to friction, lack of trust, or rigid payment options.
super.money is looking for a Manager/Deputy Manager to lead the charge in solving this. You will be the face of our High-Conversion Checkout solution—a product designed to eliminate friction, reduce RTO, and offer instant credit-led incentives. Your mission is to partner with the most ambitious D2C Founders and E-commerce Heads in India, helping them turn browsers into buyers.
What You Will Do:
1. Launch & Scale the Checkout Business
- GTM Leadership: Own the end-to-end sales cycle for our Checkout solution, from initial outreach to integration and post-live scaling.
- Founder-Level Selling: Navigate high-level conversations with D2C Founders and E-commerce Heads, moving beyond features to talk about Business Outcomes (Conversion Uplift, AOV Growth, and Customer LTV).
- Consultative Growth: Act as a strategic advisor to brands, helping them optimize their online shopping funnels using super.money's commerce toolkit.
2. Build the Merchant Ecosystem
- Market Penetration: Identify and onboard high-growth D2C brands across Fashion, Electronics, Beauty, and Home Decor.
- Pipeline for the Future: While the Checkout is your primary engine today, you will lay the groundwork for a suite of upcoming commerce products (Merchant Insights, Loyalty-as-a-Service, and more).
- Feedback Loop: Work directly with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure the voice of the founder is reflected in our product roadmap.
Who You Are:
- The D2C Insider: You have spent 4-8 years selling to or working with the Indian D2C ecosystem, particularly, through Online Shopping Websites with understanding of various business functions.
- Preferred areas of knowledge:
- You know the players, the pain points (RTO, CAC, drop-offs), and the potential.
- Knowledge of platforms like Shopify,Magento, WooCommerce is preferred
- Direct experience selling Shopify Apps (Loyalty, Rewards, CRM, CDP, or Marketing Automation) is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Sales related tech tools like CRM, Contact Discovery and AI tools
- Sales Hunting Role: The candidate is expected to hunt new accounts from a market of over 100000+ brands in the D2C ecosystem.
- Networked: You have an existing relationship with Founders and Growth Heads of Indian online shopping brands. You don't need an introduction; you need a solution to offer them.
- Outcome-Oriented: You aren't just selling software; you are selling Growth. You understand e-commerce metrics (CRO, AOV, RTO) better than most.
- Strategic Closer: You have a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals where the product is part of a larger business transformation.
- Tech-Fluent: You can hold your own in a conversation about API integrations, payment gateways, and UX friction points.
