Role Description The Sales Manager is responsible for driving room, event, and F&B revenue by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. This full-time, on-site role is based in Orchha and involves daily collaboration with the front office, reservations, and F&B teams to develop and execute sales plans. The Sales Manager will conduct client visits, handle inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales pipeline. The role also includes monitoring market trends, participating in promotional activities, preparing sales reports, and ensuring high standards of guest and partner satisfaction. The Sales Manager will represent Orchha Palace and Resorts at local events and trade activities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, account management, and business development skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Solid knowledge of hospitality or hotel operations, including room sales, banqueting, and event coordination.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with strong client relationship management skills.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for sales reporting and forecasting.
- Ability to work on-site in Orchha, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in hotel or resort sales management or a similar role will be considered a strong advantage.
