About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to drive business growth across North Zone. The ideal candidate will have strong on-ground sales execution capability, an existing network in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation space, and the ability to communicate fluently with local healthcare professionals and institutions. This is a revenue-critical, field-focused role requiring deep market penetration across clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres in the North India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Identify, prospect, and convert new customers including physiotherapy clinics, rehabilitation centres, hospitals, orthopaedic departments, and sports medicine facilities etc.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and product demonstration to negotiation and order closure.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline in CRM tools and provide accurate revenue forecasts to leadership.
- Drive aggressive territory expansion by identifying untapped micro-markets within the assigned geography.
2. Key Account & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, and institutional procurement heads.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts - ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits and clinical reviews to strengthen engagement and identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop referral pipelines through satisfied customers and clinical champions.
3. Product Promotion & Market Development
- Conduct in-clinic product demonstrations, hands-on trials, and group workshops to educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits of PEMF and rehabilitation devices.
- Prepare and deliver customised value propositions based on the customer's clinical needs and buying motives.
- Maintain deep product knowledge to handle clinical queries, objections, and competitive comparisons confidently.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute CMEs (Continuing Medical Education events), conferences, webinars, and product launch activities in the territory.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback; relay insights to the product and marketing teams.
- Develop and support distributor/dealer networks, ensuring alignment with company sales strategy and brand standards.
4. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and competitive intelligence in the CRM system.
- Submit daily call reports, expense statements, and monthly sales review dashboards on time.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with medical device regulations, company ethics policies, and applicable legal standards.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales.
- Prior experience in physiotherapy, orthopaedic, or rehabilitation equipment is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills - ability to communicate both clinical and commercial value effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging with clinical as well as administrative stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM platforms preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
