Job Summary
The Travel Trade Manager will be responsible for driving room revenue through strategic partnerships with travel agents, tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and travel management companies (TMCs). The role requires a strong understanding of the travel trade ecosystem, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, TMCs, and other travel trade partners.
- Drive room night production and revenue growth through the travel trade segment.
- Identify, onboard, and develop new travel trade accounts across key markets.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and preferred partnership contracts with travel partners.
- Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and training sessions for travel agents and trade partners.
- Plan and execute sales initiatives, trade promotions, roadshows, and familiarization (FAM) trips.
- Work closely with revenue management and hotel operations teams to maximize business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate account records, sales pipelines, and business forecasts through CRM systems.
- Achieve assigned revenue and production targets for the travel trade segment.
- Represent the company at travel trade exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Travel Trade Sales, Hotel Sales, or Business Development within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Strong network of travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and TMCs.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of hotel distribution channels and travel trade dynamics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
