Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in New Delhi. The Sales Manager will lead sales activities for weighing and automation solutions, manage a regional sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth in assigned territories. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts within company guidelines. The role includes managing key accounts, coordinating closely with technical, service, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction, and tracking post-installation performance. The Sales Manager will analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, and support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, customer visits, and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in B2B sales, key account management, and territory development within industrial or capital equipment sectors.
  • Strong abilities in prospecting, lead qualification, sales pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
  • Experience in customer relationship management, after-sales support coordination, and handling escalations professionally.
  • Familiarity with technical or engineering products, ideally in weighing systems, industrial automation, or related domains.
  • Competence in sales forecasting, reporting, and using CRM or sales tracking tools to manage opportunities.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms.
  • Strong problem-solving, commercial acumen, and the ability to work toward targets with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in industrial sales in the New Delhi/North India market and willingness to travel within assigned regions.
