About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Trainee to join our team as an intern specializing in secondary research for General Trade in the FMCG sector. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, market analysis, and understanding the dynamics of FMCG distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct secondary research to gather data on FMCG market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities in General Trade.
• Analyze industry reports, retailer feedback, and market data to identify potential sales opportunities and gaps.
• Assist the sales team in creating detailed retailer profiles and distribution strategies.
• Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings to support General Trade sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align research insights with business goals and on-ground execution.
• Stay updated on FMCG industry developments, emerging trends, and trade practices relevant to General Trade.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
