Sales Intern

Bangalore (on-site, 5 days/week)

Duration: 6 months

About the Role

Aerchain's Sales Intern programme is built for high-agency individuals who want to learn the full B2B SaaS sales motion — from prospecting through pre-sales, deal closure, and handoff to implementation. This is a hands-on seat embedded inside the Sales team, supporting Sales Directors and the Head of Sales across the funnel. You won't be on the sidelines — you will be in the room, doing the work that keeps the sales engine moving cleanly.

Aerchain is an AI-powered procurement orchestration platform serving large enterprises across India, the GCC, the UK, and global technology. The pace is fast, the deals are complex, and the work compounds quickly for anyone willing to lean in.

What You'll Do

Pre-Sales Research & Account Intelligence

• Build account profiles on target prospects — company structure, key decision-makers, current state, pain points, competitive landscape.

• Map stakeholders and prepare pre-meeting briefs for Sales Directors.

Sales Cycle Support

• Keep the CRM clean and current — log calls, update opportunities, track next steps.

• Prepare meeting agendas, send timely follow-ups, and schedule next touches.

• Digest sales calls from AI notetakers into action items and next-best-actions.

Deal Support

• Assist in drafting proposals, business cases, and ROI models with input from Sales Directors.

• Pull competitive intelligence and case study material relevant to active deals.

• Coordinate inputs from product, pre-sales, and customer success when deals need them.

Pre-Implementation Handoff

• Shepherd closed deals to the implementation team — package context, schedule kickoffs, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Conference & Event Support

• Run pre-event prospect research and meeting prep.

• Draft post-event follow-ups and coordinate lead nurturing handoffs.

Sales Operations

• Run ad-hoc pipeline and activity reports.

• Spot gaps in process and propose fixes.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

• Final-year students or recent graduates (B.E. / B.Tech / MBA / B.Com / equivalent).

• AI fluency — you already use AI tools daily for research and drafting (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity or similar) and you are curious about new AI tooling.

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

• Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.

• High agency — you take notes, you follow up unprompted, you own outcomes.

• Comfort operating in a high-tempo environment.

Good to have:

• Curiosity about B2B SaaS, procurement, and how enterprise sales actually works.

• Prior CRM exposure (HubSpot ideal).

• Has experimented with any AI workflow, even a small one.

How You'll Know You're Winning

Sales Directors trust your prep enough to walk into client meetings without re-reading the deck. Follow-ups go out the same day. The team comes to you for the context you have already pulled.
