About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to support our sales team in daily operations, research, and client/vendor coordination. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how a sales function runs end-to-end and contribute to real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Team
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and/or Sales Associates to complete assigned tasks and projects.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and basic reports.
  • Sales Administration & Documentation
  • Update sales records, CRM entries, and related documents accurately and on time.
  • Help maintain organized digital and physical files for leads, opportunities, and client information.
  • Vendor & Client Communication
  • Communicate with vendors and clients at the manager's request via email, phone, or messaging platforms.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, follow-ups, and demos.
  • Research & Data Collection
  • Conduct market and competitor research as guided by the manager.
  • Collate and analyze survey data to generate simple insights for the sales team.
  • Process Improvement
  • Help identify potential weaknesses or gaps in sales processes and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Share practical observations from day-to-day work that could enhance team efficiency or customer experience.
  • Learning & Reporting
  • Keep a structured log of tasks performed, skills learned, and key observations.
  • Prepare and deliver short presentations to staff and other stakeholders on learnings, research findings, or mini-project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, business development, or account management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs).
  • Ability to conduct online research and summarize findings clearly.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with guidance.
