Role OverviewMy Design Minds is actively hiring forSales Executive Jobsfocused onB2B salesin the design, engineering, and manufacturing services domain. This role is ideal for professionals who understandtechnical selling, client requirements, and long sales cycles associated with industrial and engineering services.
The Sales Executive will be responsible forlead generation, client acquisition, requirement understanding, proposal coordination, and deal closure. This is not a mass-sales or call-center role. It requires the ability to interact withfounders, engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makersat client organizations.
Candidates with experience indesign agencies, engineering consultancies, manufacturing services, CAD/CAE companies, or industrial solution providerswill be preferred. A strong combination would be anEngineering background + MBA in Sales & Marketing, as the role demands both technical understanding and sales execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesB2B Sales & Client Acquisition- Identify and generatenew B2B leadsfor design, engineering, and manufacturing services
- Handle inbound leads from website, job portals, referrals, and marketing channels
- Actively prospect through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calls, and networking
- Engage with startups, MSMEs, manufacturers, and industrial clients
Requirement Understanding & Solution Selling- Understand client requirements related toproduct design, CAD, reverse engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing support
- Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams to define scope and feasibility
- Translate technical requirements intoclear commercial proposals
- Present the company's capabilities confidently to potential clients
Sales Process Management- Manage the completesales lifecyclefrom lead qualification to deal closure
- Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and commercial discussions
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and payment terms within company guidelines
- Maintain proper sales documentation and CRM updates
Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams during project onboarding
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution
- Upsell or cross-sell additional services where relevant
Market & Pipeline Development- Track market trends in design, engineering, and manufacturing services
- Identify new business opportunities and target industries
- Maintain a healthysales pipelinewith predictable conversions
- Support the founder and management with sales reports and forecasts
Mandatory Skills & Requirements- 23 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in design agencies, engineering services, or manufacturing support companies
- Strong understanding ofservice-based sales(not FMCG or retail sales)
- Ability to communicate confidently withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills inEnglish & Hindi
- Comfortable working in atarget-driven, startup/MSME environment
Preferred Background- Engineering degree (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Electronics)
- MBA in Sales & Marketingor equivalent business exposure
- Prior experience sellingdesign services, CAD services, manufacturing services, or technical solutions
Good to Have- Experience working with startups or MSMEs
- Familiarity with proposal preparation and costing models
- Understanding of engineering drawings or manufacturing workflows (basic level)
- Experience with CRM tools (basic level)

Salary & Incentives- 20,000 30,000 per month (Fixed Salary)
