Sales Executive – Industrial Storage Solutions
Location: Manesar
Experience: 2–5 Years (Racking/Storage/Warehousing Industry preferred)
Education: MBA (Marketing/Operations) or equivalent degree
Role Objective
The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue by converting inbound leads into successful projects. This involves managing the end-to-end sales funnel—from lead qualification and technical site visits to final closures and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Conversion
Actively manage and respond to leads generated through IndiaMart, TradeIndia, and other digital platforms.
Qualify leads based on project size, urgency, and technical feasibility.
Regularly update the lead status and report progress to the management/designated authority.
2. Client Engagement & Technical Scoping
Conduct on-site client visits to understand storage requirements (Pallet Racking, Mezzanine Floors, Shelving, etc.).
Perform basic site measurements and coordinate with the design/technical team to propose the best-fit storage layout.
Present technical quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
3. Relationship Management & Follow-ups
Maintain a rigorous daily follow-up schedule with prospects to ensure a high conversion rate.
Address client queries regarding technical specifications, load-bearing capacities, and delivery timelines.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain a detailed Daily Sales Report (DSR) and update lead tracking sheets.
Prepare Weekly Sales Reports summarizing new leads, pipeline value, and closure status.
Coordinate with the accounts team for payment collections and billing milestones.
Required Skills & Competencies
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of Pallet Racking systems, Cantilever racks, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Communication: Fluent in Hindi and English; ability to confidently present to Warehouse Managers and Purchase Heads.
Negotiation: Proven track record of closing B2B sales in an industrial/manufacturing setup.
Tools: Proficient in MS Excel (for reporting) and CRM software (if applicable).
