Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Thane. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and promoting the company's packaging machinery solutions. Daily activities include visiting clients, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing and negotiating quotations, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets. The role involves coordinating with technical and production teams to understand product specifications, addressing customer queries, and ensuring timely order execution. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, gather competitor information, and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications

  • Proven sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing deals, preferably in industrial machinery or capital equipment.
  • Strong client relationship management, customer service orientation, and ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into suitable solutions.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Basic technical aptitude to grasp packaging machinery features, specifications, and applications; ability to collaborate closely with engineering or technical teams.
  • Good organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet sales targets.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, email, and standard office applications for reporting, documentation, and pipeline management.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, especially in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial automation, is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits, demos, and industry events as required.
