Locations: Mumbai, Pune, Gujarat, Banglore, Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad
Job Title: Sales Engineer
Experience- 2-8 years
Salary: 2.5 LPA to 9 LPA + (Incentive) ( Depends on interview )
Working Days- Mon sat (9:30-6 pm)
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Business Development:
o Proactively identify and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
o Develop a strong pipeline of potential customers and convert leads into sales opportunities.
o Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
2. Sales & Customer Engagement:
o Present, promote, and sell industrial automation products, including coding and marking machines (CIJ, TTO, TIJ, and Laser Printers), sensors, encoders, and conveyors.
o Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions. o Negotiate pricing and contract terms while ensuring profitability.
o Provide product demonstrations and technical support to customers as needed.
3. Quotation & Documentation Management:
o Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and relevant documentation to customers.
o Maintain records of inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and contracts.
4. Order Processing & Payment Follow-up:
o Follow up with customers regarding purchase orders and ensure timely processing.
o Track payments and ensure on-time recovery as per agreed terms.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. o Provide post-sales support and address customer inquiries or concerns. o Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution.
6. Reporting & Coordination:
o Prepare and submit sales reports, including:
a) Sales Plan
b) Sales Pipeline
c) Orders and Follow-ups
d) Payments and Follow-ups
o Regularly communicate sales performance and market insights to
management.
7. Team Collaboration & Target Achievement:
o Work closely with team members to achieve collective sales targets. o Participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Requirements:
Education: Any Graduate / Post Graduate
Experience: 2 to 8 years in industrial field sales, preferably in industrial automation, packaging machinery products.
Skills & Competencies:
o Fluent in English with strong communication and negotiation skills. o Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools, etc.). o Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
o Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
o Goal-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
Other Requirements:
o Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
o Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
