Job Title: Sales Engineer Home Automation / Lighting Control Systems

Location: Pune & Mumbai

Department: Sales & Business Development

Experience Required: 26 years

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer with experience in home automation or lighting control systems. The candidate will be responsible for generating business, managing client relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets in the Pune region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
  • Meet architects, interior designers, system integrators, MEP consultants, and electrical contractors.
  • Prepare and submit technical-commercial proposals and ensure follow-up until closure.
  • Conduct presentations and product demos.
  • Coordinate with technical/design teams for BOQs, wiring diagrams, and solution configurations.
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities including client coordination and basic commissioning.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain CRM records, visit reports, and provide weekly/monthly updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering (preferred).
  • 26 years of experience in selling home automation, lighting control systems, BMS, or ELV systems.
  • Understanding of smart switches, dimmers, sensors, gateways, and automation protocols (KNX, DALI, DMX, ZigBee, Wi-Fi).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with architects, consultants, and premium clients.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel locally.
