Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in New Delhi. The Sales Engineer will engage with customers and channel partners to understand technical requirements, recommend suitable valve solutions, and prepare techno-commercial proposals. Responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, supporting bid and tender processes, and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to address technical queries. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, forecasting demand, and driving order conversion while maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers. The Sales Engineer will also provide front-line technical support, participate in site visits as needed, and gather market intelligence to inform product positioning and business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, with experience translating technical requirements into practical solutions and proposals.
  • Technical Support and Customer Service skills to address product queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; a background in industrial valves, flow control, or process industries is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site, travel for customer meetings or site visits as required, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools; familiarity with reading technical drawings, specifications, and standards is beneficial.
  • Proven track record in B2B or industrial sales, with strong negotiation, presentation, and time-management abilities.
