Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pre Post Sales Engineer role based in Gurugram. The Pre Post Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales team and customers to understand business and technical requirements, design appropriate security and infrastructure solutions, and prepare proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations. The role involves supporting proof-of-concept deployments, assisting with solution architecture, and responding to technical queries during the pre-sales cycle. Post-sales, the engineer will help oversee implementation handovers, provide technical guidance during onboarding, and coordinate with internal delivery and support teams to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction. The position also includes documenting solutions, gathering customer feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of offerings and processes.
Qualifications
  • Strong Sales Engineering and pre/post-sales solution design skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical, secure architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in Technical Support and troubleshooting, including collaboration with operations and implementation teams.
  • Effective Communication and presentation abilities, with strong listening, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven exposure to Sales processes and opportunity management, including proposal creation, demos, and RFP/RFI responses.
  • Customer Service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, networking, cloud security, and related technologies; certifications (e.g., CCNA, Security+, NSE, or vendor-specific) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple engagements in parallel, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
