Sales Business Development Manager Food Ingredients
Job Description:
Primary function:
- Build and expand Agrocorp Food Ingredients portfolio of products in India
Report to:
- Business Head Food Ingredients
Key Deliverables:
- Deliver annual sales and gross profit targets (direct numbers)
- Develop and grow customers opportunities pipeline as agreed
- Strengthen Agrocorp Food Ingredients brand as a major food and health ingredients supplier in India market.
- Identify new markets for pea isolates and starches
- Strengthen relationships with local, regional and global accounts operating in India.
- Obtain customers forecasts, secure RFQs, negotiate prices and terms with customers.
- Work seamlessly with customer service to register customers, vendors and material into internal Agrocorp's ERP systems
- Working Capital - Ensure timely collection of account receivables and manage stock ageing within acceptable standards.
- Compile competitor information and provide inputs to Agrocorp's suppliers timely.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary Education.
- Bachelor of Science in Food, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5 10 years of experience in sales or business development in food ingredients distribution companies, with experience in food, beverage and nutraceutical industries.
