Sales Business Development Manager Food Ingredients

Job Description:

Primary function:

  • Build and expand Agrocorp Food Ingredients portfolio of products in India

Report to:

  • Business Head Food Ingredients

Key Deliverables:

  • Deliver annual sales and gross profit targets (direct numbers)
  • Develop and grow customers opportunities pipeline as agreed

  • Strengthen Agrocorp Food Ingredients brand as a major food and health ingredients supplier in India market.
  • Identify new markets for pea isolates and starches
  • Strengthen relationships with local, regional and global accounts operating in India.
  • Obtain customers forecasts, secure RFQs, negotiate prices and terms with customers.
  • Work seamlessly with customer service to register customers, vendors and material into internal Agrocorp's ERP systems
  • Working Capital - Ensure timely collection of account receivables and manage stock ageing within acceptable standards.
  • Compile competitor information and provide inputs to Agrocorp's suppliers timely.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Education.
  • Bachelor of Science in Food, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5 10 years of experience in sales or business development in food ingredients distribution companies, with experience in food, beverage and nutraceutical industries.
