Retail Sales Executive
The Retail Sales Executive plays a critical frontline role in driving store sales and delivering a world-class customer experience. The role focuses on converting walk-in customers, supporting revenue targets, maintaining visual standards, and representing the KIWI brand with confidence and warmth at the store level.
The core value of this role is to deliver a consistent 5-star customer experience, support daily sales targets, and ensure smooth store operations through strong selling skills, product knowledge, and customer relationship building.
Key Responsibilities1. Store Sales & Revenue Support
- Achieve assigned daily and monthly sales targets
- Actively upsell, cross-sell, and recommend products to customers
- Convert walk-in customers into repeat buyers
- Support execution of in-store offers, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Assist in tracking daily sales performance and customer trends
- Support B2B and bulk sales enquiries as guided by store leadership
2. Customer Experience (5-Star Service)
- Greet and engage every customer with a warm, premium experience
- Clearly explain product benefits, origin, quality, and usage
- Build trust and long-term relationships with customers
- Handle basic customer feedback and escalate issues when required
- Ensure store hygiene, ambience, and display standards are maintained
- Encourage loyalty program sign-ups and repeat visits
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Maintain product displays as per visual merchandising guidelines
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and attractive
- Support festive and campaign-based store setups
- Maintain cleanliness of selling area, counters, and caf (if applicable)
4. Inventory & Store Operations Support
- Assist in stock receiving, shelving, and replenishment
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor product expiry
- Support periodic stock counts and audits
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
- Ensure correct pricing and barcode accuracy on shelves
5. Teamwork & Discipline
- Work collaboratively with store team members
- Follow store SOPs, grooming standards, and attendance discipline
- Participate in daily briefings and product training sessions
- Maintain a positive, sales-driven, customer-first attitude

Experience & Eligibility
- 13 years experience in retail sales / FMCG / lifestyle / food retail
