Job Title: Retail Manager

Experience Required: 810 Years

Department: Retail / Sales

Reporting To:CRTO Chief Retail & Technology Officer

Role Overview

The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing retail chain relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and closing agreements while ensuring seamless execution in coordination with the CRTO. The role bridges retail operations and technology-led retail execution, aligning physical retail performance with company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Chain & Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with national, regional, and local retail chains.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned retail partners.
  • Work closely with the CRTO to align retail strategy with technology-enabled execution.

Negotiation & Agreements

  • Lead end-to-end negotiations with retail chains on:
  • Commercial terms, margins, and pricing
  • Listing fees, shelf rentals, and visibility
  • Promotional spends and campaign planning
  • Payment terms and credit periods
  • Draft, negotiate, finalize, and renew retail agreements in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
  • Ensure agreements are scalable, profitable, and compliant.

Sales & Retail Execution

  • Drive sales growth and improve sell-through across all retail partners.
  • Ensure execution of agreed planograms, visibility, and promotions at store level.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and merchandising teams for stock availability.

Technology & Process Alignment

  • Work with the CRTO on retail tech adoption (POS data, sales dashboards, inventory tracking).
  • Use retail analytics to improve forecasting, replenishment, and performance tracking.
  • Support process automation initiatives within retail operations.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Provide regular performance updates to the CRTO.
  • Track KPIs, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Share actionable insights to improve retail efficiency and profitability.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in retail negotiations and contract management
  • Experience working with retail chains and modern trade
  • Strong understanding of retail technology, POS data, and analytics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

Experience & Qualifications

  • 810 years of experience in Retail Sales / Key Account Management
  • Proven experience in handling retail chain negotiations and agreements
  • Exposure to tech-enabled retail operations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing (MBA preferred)
