Key Result Areas & Supporting Actions

Contribution in Formulation & Implementation of Retail & Department Store Strategy

  • Proactively contribute to the formulation and direction of retail strategy; implement projects and trials for the Regions.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate business and Area objectives to ABMs, ensuring they remain well informed of business activity and their required contribution to targets.
  • Align Sales & Marketing: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure strategies are cohesive and mutually supportive, driving both store performance and brand growth.

Tapping Business Potential for the Region

  • Prepare quarter-wise footfall generation activity plans for stores; ensure every store receives appropriate support.
  • Create store business plans in consultation with RBMs and teams; coordinate with HO for execution support.
  • Analyze competition to identify opportunities/threats; recommend actions to leverage emerging trends.
  • Conduct business development visits; provide final opinions on B/C sites; filter leads from RBMs; anchor relationships with RBD local representatives.
  • Align Sales & Operations: Coordinate sales goals with operational capabilities to maximize business potential and customer satisfaction.

Franchisee Management

  • Manage franchisee relationships from a business perspective.
  • Handle conflict resolution effectively to maintain smooth operations.
  • Align Sales & Operations: Ensure franchisee sales targets align with operational capacity and brand standards.

SOP Compliance

  • Monitor RRM and audit reports to identify recurring trends at stores.
  • Ensure strict compliance with standard operating procedures.

Merchandise Management

  • Liaise with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure adequate stock supply in the region, maximizing stock potential.
  • Monitor RRM and audit reports to detect trends and recommend improvements.

Visual Merchandising (VM)

  • Monitor the effectiveness of VM arrangements at outlets and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure store visual presentations consistently reflect the brand image.

Marketing

  • Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns.
  • Align Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with marketing to translate campaign goals into store-level execution driving sales.

Store Operations

  • Analyze store opening quality; study delay patterns.
  • Monitor operations and ensure compliance in cash, stock, and cost management. Suggest process improvements for 100% compliance.
  • Design and monitor new store launch plans, providing handholding during the first 3 months.
  • Identify underperforming stores and develop actionable business plans for improvement.
  • Align Sales & Operations: Ensure operational readiness supports sales targets and customer experience.

Competitive Edge

  • Encourage RBMs to develop knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions; recommend innovative actions to advance the business.
  • Motivate managers to identify trends and suggest product performance improvements that enhance brand achievement.

Understanding Consumer Needs

  • Monitor CRM registration rates and consumer behavior patterns; suggest improvements for customer service.
  • Provide consumer insights to RBMs and store teams for better business outcomes.
  • Develop rapport with top customers (approx. 5 per store).
  • Manage agency collaborations for customer engagement, store launches, CRM campaigns, and analytics; negotiate contracts and extract meaningful data insights.
  • Align Sales & Marketing: Use consumer insights to refine marketing campaigns and sales approaches.
