Job Description

We are looking for a courteous, organized, and patient-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience through effective front-desk operations and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and walk-in management
  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and emails; route queries appropriately
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Hospital Management System (HMS)
  • Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, and clinical staff regarding patient flow
  • Collect basic patient information and guide patients through OPD processes
  • Manage front-desk documentation and daily registers
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Address patient queries and escalate concerns when required
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate / HSC with relevant experience
  • 13 years of experience as a receptionist in a hospital or clinic preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with HMS and MS Office is an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi; Marathi preferred)
  • Professional appearance, multitasking ability, and patient-friendly attitude
