About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance. The role requires hands-on involvement in quality control processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Assurance

  • Oversee end-to-end quality control processes across raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to ensure product consistency
  • Develop and implement quality standards, SOPs, and control procedures
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure adherence to food safety standards

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, hygiene, and food safety regulations
  • Maintain and implement systems like HACCP, GMP, and GHP
  • Handle documentation and records related to audits and compliance
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure implementation

Vendor & Raw Material Quality

  • Evaluate and approve vendors based on quality standards
  • Conduct raw material inspections and ensure specifications are met
  • Work closely with procurement to maintain consistent quality supply

Audits & Documentation

  • Prepare for and manage internal and external audits
  • Maintain quality reports, checklists, and compliance documentation
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Process Improvement

  • Identify quality issues and drive root cause analysis
  • Implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defects
  • Work closely with production teams to improve processes and efficiency

Team Coordination

  • Train production staff on quality standards and hygiene practices
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs across all teams
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for quality-related improvements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (preferably in food industry)
  • Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, GHP
  • Experience in audits, documentation, and compliance
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
