Quality Assurance Manager

This role is about building confidence in product quality at scale. You'll lead quality assurance efforts across the development lifecycle—ensuring releases are stable, processes are structured, and quality standards are consistently maintained without slowing execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA function across products, releases, and testing cycles
• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and quality standards
• Oversee manual and automated testing processes across applications and systems
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure release readiness
• Drive defect tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution management
• Improve QA processes, testing efficiency, and release reliability continuously
• Manage test environments, test data, and regression testing activities
• Mentor QA engineers and establish strong testing and documentation practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycles, and release processes
• Experience managing both manual and automation testing teams
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to manage multiple releases and priorities simultaneously

Good to Have

• Experience with performance or API testing tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• ISTQB or relevant QA certifications
• Experience in SaaS or large-scale product environments
