Job Description

Functional Responsibilities

  • Ordering material and placing gap buy orders so that service degree is maintained.
  • Timely reply to the questions asked by the suppliers or other internal departments to resolve any issue in procurement of a part.
  • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communication.
  • Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas ( KRA's)
  • To highlight any cases to superiors or IDM (CSR), where immediate attention is needed.
  • Maintain quality of material by checking beforehand any quality related issues of a supplier.
  • Contact internal teams or superior in case any suggestion is needed to place an order in a timely manner.
  • Work on quality notifications as and when needed.
  • Price saving and negotiation whenever possible.
  • Train new employee about Purchasing process and ERP System.
  • Share information of outlook, signature creation of new employee.
  • Making and updating SOP.
  • Help team members in making critical decisions.
  • Help in work allocation and act as back up of seniors in the team.
