Job Role - Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities -

  • Raise purchase orders as per requirement and planning timelines
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor vendor compliance in terms of lead time and quality
  • Ensure material availability as per supply plan
  • Manage MOQ and negotiate costs for optimal procurement

Key Deliverables -

  • Vendor On-Time Delivery: 95%
  • PR to PO processing time: 24 hours
  • Emergency purchases: 5%
  • Inventory availability: 98%

Requirement -

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly for [FMCG/Chemicals/Pharma etc.].
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, quality specifications, and supplier landscapes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • High integrity and adherence to procurement ethics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
