Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Department: PMO

Reports To: Senior Project Manager

Budget upto 22lpa

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned client projects, including project planning, execution, customer relationship management, financial management (billing and accounts receivable), RFQ (Requests for Quotes), and SCR (Software Change Requests).

Projects typically involve software and hardware upgrades, complex implementation projects, add-on software initiatives, or standalone implementations.

The Project Manager coordinates closely with the Client Project Manager and internal resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Adhere to the organization's project management methodology throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of the project plan along with internal and client teams.
  • Develop and maintain the Project Charter with key stakeholders.
  • Develop the Statement of Work (SOW) from the contract in collaboration with team members and client representatives.
  • Manage the Project Plan and deliverables throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure project delivery on schedule and within budget.

Project Coordination

  • Conduct project kickoff meetings at the client site.
  • Maintain project milestones, work breakdown structures (WBS), task trackers, risk logs, and issue logs.
  • Facilitate project planning and review meetings with client and internal teams.
  • Coordinate and manage client and internal resources to support project activities.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Provide project status reports (written and verbal) to management and clients as defined in the Project Charter.
  • Monitor project budget and scope against the approved SOW and deliverables.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve or escalate issues affecting the project's critical path.

Client Relationship Management

  • Monitor client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve open project issues.

Change & Financial Management

  • Create Change Orders to document scope or contract variances.
  • Request quotes for products and services required for project completion.
  • Support billing and accounts receivable processes related to projects.

Team Leadership

  • Provide oversight and guidance to Project Coordinators.
  • Mentor and support junior project team members.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields is required:

  • Business Administration
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Healthcare or related discipline

Experience

Project Manager Level 2

  • 1015 years of core technical experience
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated professional competence in managing technical projects.

Project Manager Level 3

  • 1520 years of core technical experience
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience
  • Experience managing 10+ complex projects
  • Proven team leadership and project delivery experience.

Required Certifications

One or more of the following certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner

Technical Skills

Project Management & SDLC

  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies:
