Overview:

The Product Manager at Ziplyne serves as the operational and strategic nucleus of our product team. You will lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and the Founders to ensure successful sprint execution, product delivery, and client satisfaction. This role demands a mix of strong execution skills, structured thinking, and a high degree of ownership.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:Agile & Sprint Management
  • Lead daily stand-ups with the engineering team to track progress and align on priorities.
  • Create and manage sprints in Jira: task allocation, deadline setting, and delivery tracking.
  • Collaborate with Founders during sprint planning and update sprint boards regularly.
  • Maintain and update sprint workflows, deployment checklists, and supporting documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Sync regularly with:
  • Customer Success to gather feedback, client issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Tech Lead (Kundan) to resolve blockers and monitor development timelines.
  • Founders (especially Rajiv) for strategic input and daily alignment.
  • UI/UX Designer to refine user experience and product enhancements.
  • Schedule and facilitate internal cross-functional meetings to maintain team alignment.
Client & Partner Engagement
  • Deliver product trainings to prospects, clients, and partners.
  • Conduct follow-up workshops post-training to drive adoption and ensure comprehension.
  • Evaluate and prioritise client-reported bugs, managing resolutions in coordination with engineering.
Product Quality & Feedback
  • Perform regular end-user testing of the product; share feedback and usability insights with the team.
  • Collaborate with design and development to ensure alignment with business and user needs.
Documentation & Communication
  • Maintain key product documentation including:
  • Knowledge Articles (KAs)
  • Release Notes (RNs)
  • Sprint workflows and deployment checklists
  • Capture and distribute meeting summaries to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure important Zoom meetings are recorded and archived for future reference.
  • Champion transparent and timely information flow across teams.
Process Optimisation & Culture
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements for better team efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Monitor team capacity and manage workload to support a healthy work environment.
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Execution
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning and quarterly release goals.
  • Coordinate releases with internal and client timelines.
  • Break down high-level goals into sprint-level tasks and initiatives.
