Job Description

Reporting to Head Procurement you will:

  • Manage direct procurement strategies to meet objectives within the chemical industry.
  • Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and plan accordingly.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
  • Stay updated on market trends and industry practices to optimise sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure robust sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, cost optimization, risk management, and compliance across all categories.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering MBA Preferred
  • Brings 15+ years of experience in chemical raw material procurement
  • Demonstrates expertise in negotiation, system implementation, and digital procurement platforms
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, team development, and execution speed under dynamic environments
