Job Description

Reporting to Head Procurement you will:

Manage direct procurement strategies to meet objectives within the chemical industry.
Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and plan accordingly.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Stay updated on market trends and industry practices to optimise sourcing strategies.
Ensure robust sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, cost optimization, risk management, and compliance across all categories.

The Successful Applicant

Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering MBA Preferred
Brings 15+ years of experience in chemical raw material procurement
Demonstrates expertise in negotiation, system implementation, and digital procurement platforms
Possesses excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, team development, and execution speed under dynamic environments
