Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Snowflake
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities
.Design and implement effective database solutions and models. The role requires him/her to have wide knowledge over business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, modeling, database, and technical aspects of BI tools.
.Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
.Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
.Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
.Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
.Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
.Collaborate cross functional and cross-country teams to identify data integration sources and perform integration scenarios.
.Must take responsibility and ownership of components/processes within the team and mentor the team members
.Pragmatic approach to problem solving
.Participate in development of key projects.
.Provide status reports to clients weekly.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.BE/B Tech/MCA
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Dimensional Modeling (Start & Snowflake Schema) Oracle, Test strategy and test cases, Teradata and DB2 Databases, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), Data Warehousing, ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, Unix Scripting, Change/Incident management tools like Service Now And HPSM, and Scheduling tools like TWS.
.Fundamental Knowledge of python, dashboarding and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau and Cognos), Data Lake.
.Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts including AWS, Azure DevOps, Hybrid Cloud, and Databases.
.Knowledge of productivity and PM tools (MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Atlassian products (Jira).
