Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Architect to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in Power BI development and architecture, with a strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and analytics. The candidate should also be able to lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, and visualizations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, and translate those requirements into effective Power BI solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve our reporting and analytics capabilities
- Ensure that Power BI solutions are scalable, efficient, and optimized for performance
- Provide technical expertise and support to other members of the team as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10-20 years of experience in Power BI development and architecture
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization
- Strong understanding of Power BI architecture and components, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX
- Experience with cloud-based Power BI solutions, such as Power BI Service and Power BI Embedded
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjects is a plus
