Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Officer - IT, located in Kochi. The Placement Officer will be responsible for coordinating campus placement activities, building and maintaining relationships with potential employers, and offering career counseling services to students. Additionally, the role involves organizing training sessions and workshops to prepare students for interviews and placements, along with managing placement records and ensuring strong placement outcomes. This impactful role helps bridge the gap between student aspirations and professional opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Campus Placement coordination and related activities
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with students, employers, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Career Counseling and guiding students towards achieving their career goals
- Capability to organize and deliver Training sessions and workshops
- Knowledge of the Education sector and understanding of trends in IT industry placements
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Previous experience in placement coordination within the education or IT sector is advantageous
