Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will work directly with prospective and current students to provide academic advising, career counseling, and guidance on educational opportunities. They will assist students in identifying their strengths and aligning them with career goals, conduct counseling sessions, and guide students through various academic pathways. Maintaining clear and empathetic communication while supporting student success is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong skills in Academic Advising and Education planning
- Excellent Communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively
- Prior experience in academic or student support roles is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students
