About the Role:
IIM SKILLS is looking for a proactive Placement Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end placement process for students. The candidate will play a key role in connecting students with hiring companies, coordinating interviews, and building strong relationships with HR professionals to generate job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the complete placement cycle for students across different programs.
- Connect and build relationships with HRs and recruiters from various companies for job opportunities.
- Align and schedule interviews between students and hiring organizations.
- Use LinkedIn networking to build strong connections with HR professionals and hiring managers.
- Source relevant job openings through job portals such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms.
- Maintain and track student placement records, interview schedules, and hiring updates.
- Guide students on job applications, resume improvements, and interview preparation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth placement operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, or HR roles.
- Strong LinkedIn networking skills with HR professionals and recruiters.
- Hands-on experience using job portals and sourcing job opportunities online.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and employer relationships simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience working in EdTech, training institutes, or placement teams.
- Understanding of recruitment and hiring processes.
