Job Summary

The Pharmaceutical Recruiter manages the full recruitment lifecycle for pharmaceutical and life sciences positions. This includes identifying talent, conducting candidate screenings, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The role requires strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry functions, compliance standards, and specialized hiring requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences roles
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and internal databases
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and workforce planning needs
  • Negotiate compensation packages and manage offer processes
  • Maintain accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with hiring regulations and company policies
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratio, and offer acceptance rate
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical industry hiring trends and competitor talent strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare staffing
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry roles and terminology
  • Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
