Job Description: Performance Marketing Manager

Role Overview
VLCC School of Beauty is looking for a data-driven Performance Marketing Manager with strong hands-on expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads to scale high-quality lead acquisition for India's leading beauty & wellness education brand.
This role demands someone who can run campaigns directly, own budgets, optimize the entire funnel, and work closely with agencies, CRM teams, and creative teams to deliver monthly lead and conversion targets.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Campaign Management (Execution + Optimization)
- Set up, manage & optimize Google and Meta campaigns end-to-end.
- Monitor pacing, bidding, audience performance, and quality metrics daily.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality leads at target CPL.
2. Agency & Partner Management
- Collaborate with the performance agency on strategy, execution, and troubleshooting.
- Review weekly plans, challenge recommendations, and ensure high-quality output.
3. Budget & Performance Ownership
- Own monthly digital media budgets across platforms.
- Improve ROI while maintaining optimal CPL and conversion benchmarks.
4. Funnel Tracking & Lead Journey Optimization
- Track full funnel: Awareness Consideration Conversion Admission.
- Identify drop-offs and recommend fixes to improve lead-to-admission conversion.
- Work with CRM/automation teams on nurturing journeys (Email/SMS/WhatsApp).
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Build weekly and monthly dashboards for performance tracking.
- Analyse CTR, CVR, CPL, ROAS, lead quality & cost efficiency.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
6. Landing Page & Creative Optimization
- Provide data-led inputs to improve messaging, creatives & landing pages.
- Run A/B tests across ads, audiences & LPs to optimize performance.
7. Additional Platform Support
- Occasionally manage 3rd-party platforms (Shiksha, Sulekha, Collegedunia).
- Evaluate new paid channels for incremental scale.
Eligibility Criteria
Experience
- 46 years of hands-on performance marketing experience.
- MUST have executed campaigns directly within Google & Meta dashboards.
- Experience in lead-gen focused industries education preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related fields.
- Google/META certifications are a strong advantage.
Must-Have Skills
- Deep expertise in Google Ads: Search, Display, Performance Max
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager
- Strong audience strategy & media planning skills
- Conversion tracking, attribution, UTM & tag understanding
- Strong analytical skills + Excel & dashboarding
- Ability to optimize for ROI, not just CPL
- Experience running A/B tests and experiments
