About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven Performance Marketer with proven 0-to-1 D2C brand building

experience to lead our digital acquisition efforts and drive profitable growth. You will be a

foundational member of our team, owning the full funnel performance marketing strategy from

ground upestablishing our digital presence, building scalable acquisition channels, and

creating the playbook for sustainable growth. This role requires someone who has successfully

launched and scaled a D2C brand from scratch and thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership

environment.

Key Responsibilities

0-to-1 Brand Building & Launch

Build performance marketing infrastructure from scratch including pixel implementation,

analytics setup, and tracking frameworks

Establish first customer acquisition channels and identify product-market-channel fit

Create initial customer acquisition playbook and standard operating procedures

Launch brand's first paid campaigns and establish baseline metrics and benchmarks

Build relationships with platform representatives and secure beta access to new features

Paid Media Management

Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads,

YouTube, and emerging platforms

Manage substantial monthly advertising budgets with accountability for ROAS and CAC

targets

Develop audience segmentation strategies and create targeted campaigns for different

customer personas

Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, landing pages, and audience targeting

Scale winning campaigns while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics

Analytics & Optimization

Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics including CTR, CPC, conversion

rates, ROAS, and LTV: CAC ratios

Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks

Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify optimization opportunities and growth levers

Implement proper tracking and attribution models using Google Analytics, Facebook

Pixel, and other tools

Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for campaign improvement

Growth Strategy

Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies aligned with

business goals

Identify and test new channels, platforms, and marketing opportunities

Collaborate with creative team to develop high-performing ad creatives and messaging

Optimize the customer journey from awareness to conversion

Work cross-functionally with product, CRM, and operations teams to improve conversion

rates

Budget & ROI Management

Own P&L responsibility for performance marketing spend

Forecast, allocate, and manage marketing budgets across channels

Continuously improve customer acquisition efficiency and unit economics

Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership

Conversion Rate Optimization

Partner with web/UX team to optimize landing pages and conversion funnels

Run experiments to improve on-site conversion rates and average order value

Implement strategies to reduce cart abandonment and improve checkout completion

Required Qualifications

Experience

4-6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience with at least 1-2 years in

early-stage D2C (0-to-1 phase)

Proven track record of building a D2C brand from scratch or being among the first

marketing hires (pre-Series A/seed stage preferred)

Experience taking a brand from initial launch to 5+ Cr + monthly revenue

Demonstrated success in establishing profitable acquisition channels with limited initial

budgets

Experience working in scrappy, resource-constrained startup environments

Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build processes from ground zero

Track record of finding creative, cost-effective growth hacks during early stage
