Position: Performance Marketing Executive

Company: Talod Food Products Pvt. Ltd.

Department: Digital Commerce / Marketing

Location: Ahmedabad (Hybrid possible depending on role structure)

Experience Required: 25 Years

Working Closely With: Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager

1 Role Overview

The Performance Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns to drive profitable online sales across Talod's ecommerce channels.

This role will manage paid marketing campaigns across platforms such as Amazon Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and Google Ads to increase product visibility, drive traffic, and maximize return on advertising spend.

The objective of this role is to generate consistent revenue growth while maintaining efficient advertising spend and strong return on investment.

2 Key Responsibilities

A. Amazon Advertising Management

Plan and manage advertising campaigns on Amazon Seller Central / Amazon Advertising Console.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage Sponsored Product campaigns
  • Manage Sponsored Brand campaigns
  • Monitor keyword performance and search term reports
  • Optimize bids and budgets regularly
  • Scale high-performing SKUs

Ensure that Talod's top SKUs maintain strong visibility in Amazon search results.

B. Meta Advertising (Facebook & Instagram)

Manage performance campaigns for Talod's website and brand awareness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Run conversion-focused campaigns
  • Manage retargeting campaigns
  • Build audience segments
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data
  • Improve cost per acquisition over time

Ensure campaigns drive profitable website traffic and repeat purchases.

C. Google Advertising

Manage campaigns such as:

  • Google Search Ads
  • Google Shopping Ads
  • YouTube / Display campaigns (if applicable)

Ensure Talod products appear when consumers search for relevant keywords online.

D. Campaign Optimization

Continuously monitor campaign performance and optimize campaigns through:

  • Keyword optimization
  • Bid adjustments
  • Budget reallocation
  • Creative testing
  • Audience testing

Focus on improving advertising efficiency and revenue contribution.

E. SKU Performance Analysis

Work closely with the Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager to identify:

  • High potential SKUs
  • Seasonal products
  • Products requiring additional promotion

Allocate advertising budgets based on product performance and growth potential.

F. Budget Management

Ensure efficient use of advertising budgets by:

  • Monitoring daily spend
  • Preventing overspending
  • Allocating budget toward high-performing campaigns
  • Reducing spend on underperforming campaigns

G. Marketing Experimentation

Regularly test new strategies including:

  • New keyword targeting
  • New ad creatives
  • New audience segments
  • Different bidding strategies

Document learnings and scale successful strategies.

H. Coordination with Internal Teams

Collaborate with:

Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager

  • Identify SKUs to promote
  • Align with promotional campaigns

Finance / MIS Executive

  • Track ad spend vs revenue

Customer Support

  • Identify products receiving strong positive feedback for promotion

3 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured using the following metrics:

Advertising Efficiency

  • Amazon ACOS maintained within target range
  • TACOS maintained within acceptable limits
  • Meta Ads ROAS above defined threshold

Revenue Contribution

  • Advertising-driven revenue growth
  • Increased sales of priority SKUs

Campaign Optimization

  • Regular campaign improvements
  • Reduced cost per conversion over time

Budget Management

  • No uncontrolled ad spend
  • Budget utilization aligned with ROI goals

4 Weekly Reporting Requirements

A weekly marketing performance report must be submitted including:

Campaign Performance

  • Total advertising spend
  • Revenue generated from ads
  • ACOS / ROAS metrics

Campaign Changes

  • Optimization actions taken
  • New campaigns launched
  • Campaigns paused or scaled

SKU Performance

  • Top SKUs driven by ads
  • SKUs needing additional support

Next Week Plan

  • Campaign improvements planned
  • Budget allocation strategy

5 Decision Ownership

The Performance Marketing Executive will have ownership over:

  • Campaign setup and management
  • Bid adjustments
  • Keyword targeting
  • Daily campaign optimization

Approval required for:

  • Significant budget increases
  • New advertising channels
  • Major promotional campaigns

6 Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Experience with Amazon Advertising
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing metrics
  • Ability to optimize campaigns based on performance

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with FMCG / food category products
  • Knowledge of Google Ads
  • Understanding of ecommerce conversion optimization
