Company Description
WillJini Succession Services is India's leading tech-enabled estate planning and succession services company, headquartered in Mumbai. We help individuals and families secure their legacy through Will drafting, Trust formation, Probate, Succession Certificates, and Letters of Administration - delivered by legal experts and powered by proprietary technology.
Our distribution model is deeply embedded in the financial advisory ecosystem. We partner with Mutual Fund Distributors, Wealth Managers, Financial Planners, and CAs to deliver estate planning as a value-added service to their clients - making us an indispensable part of every serious financial advisor's toolkit.
We are at an exciting inflection point - scaling our partner network nationally and deepening our presence in key markets. The Key Account Manager role sits at the heart of this mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and onboard Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), Wealth Managers, and CAs as WillJini distribution partners across assigned territories.
• Pitch WillJini's partner proposition - articulating the value of estate planning as a revenue and retention tool for financial advisors.
• Convert cold and warm leads into active, transacting partners.
• Own the full life cycle of assigned partner accounts - onboarding, activation, enablement, and retention.
• Conduct regular in-person engagement with partners: review meetings, client seminars, co-branded events, and product training sessions.
• Track partner health metrics (referrals, client conversions, revenue per partner) and intervene proactively where engagement is low.
• Serve as the first point of contact for partner queries, escalations, and feedback - maintaining a high NPS among assigned partners.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3 to 6 years of experience in BFSI - specifically in roles that involved building and managing relationships with MFDs, IFAs, Wealth Managers, or similar intermediaries.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large partner or distributor book not just sourcing, but sustaining and growing relationships over time.
• Proven track record of hunting new accounts: identifying, pitching, and closing channel partners or B2B clients.
• Comfortable with extensive travel - this is a field-first role.
Skills & Traits
• Exceptional relationship-building skills - you should be the kind of person that partners call proactively, not just when there's a problem.
• Strong presentation and communication skills - you need to explain estate planning concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
• Self-starter with high accountability - this role has significant autonomy and requires disciplined self-management.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-growing startup environment.
• Data-oriented: uses CRM tools, tracks own KPIs, and can present a structured territory review.
