Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Parent Communication & Case Coordination

  • Serve as the single point of contact for parents once a developmental concern is identified.
  • Guide families through assessments, therapy recommendations, and renewal processes with clarity and empathy.
  • Communicate therapy goals, milestones, and progress updates in parent-friendly language.
  • Coordinate across therapists, educators, and caregivers to ensure consistent interventions and feedback.

Counselling & Emotional Support

  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for parents to process emotions and stay engaged in therapy.
  • Provide guidance on home routines and reinforcement strategies aligned with therapy goals.
  • Facilitate transition counselling for children moving from therapy to FDP or mainstream schooling.

Assessment & Review Participation

  • Attend multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Support scheduling of assessments, report delivery, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure parents understand reports and align with therapy plans.

Family Experience & Retention

  • Own the parent experience index for the centre cluster.
  • Track and improve assessment-to-therapy conversion rates and therapy renewals.
  • Monitor satisfaction through structured feedback and take corrective actions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Awareness & Community Engagement

  • Conduct or co-host parent workshops, webinars, and awareness campaigns.
  • Represent KLAY at community and school-based events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to document success stories (with parental consent).

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed, updated case files for all assigned families.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards summarizing counselling sessions, conversion rates, therapy renewals, and parent satisfaction scores.
