At The Lost Compass, we design raw, thoughtfully crafted travel experiences across India, heritage walks, food tours, workshops, rural tourism, and curated journeys for international travellers.
We're now seeking an Operations Manager who can oversee execution on the ground and help us scale smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of tours across Delhi, Jaipur, Agra (and upcoming cities)
- Coordinate with tour guides, vendors, drivers, hotels, and partners
- Ensure smooth guest experience from booking confirmation to tour completion
- Handle scheduling, logistics, quality control, and last-minute problem-solving
- Manage guide allocation, briefing, and performance standards
- Work closely with founders on new tour launches and city expansions
- Maintain operational SOPs while improving efficiency as we grow
- Be the go-to person when things don't go as planned (and make them right)
Who You Are
- You understand how travel really works on the ground
- Calm under pressure, quick with solutions
- Strong communication skills (English is a must)
- Organised, detail-oriented, but flexible when needed
- Comfortable managing people, vendors, and timelines
- Passionate about travel, culture, and guest experience
- Prior experience in tour operations / DMC / travel startup is a big plus.
