Job Description

Position: Operations Manager

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Experience: 5+ Years in Operations, Business Operations, or Program Management in Tech, SaaS, or Services Organizations

Company Description

Scry AI is a research-led enterprise AI company that builds intelligent platforms for BFSI, insurance, logistics, and industrial enterprises to drive efficiency, insight, and compliance. Our product suite includes Auriga for conversational AI, Collatio for document intelligence, and Concentio for cognitive IoT and operational intelligence. These platforms help clients convert complex, fragmented data into actionable enterprise intelligence.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to strengthen the backbone of our day-to-day execution, streamline processes, and ensure cross-functional teams can move faster with clarity, structure, and reliability.

Role Overview

As an Operations Manager at Scry AI, you will be responsible for designing and managing the internal processes that keep the company running smoothly. You will partner with leadership, product, sales, HR, and finance to translate goals into operational plans, track execution, and remove roadblocks. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, comfort with data, and the ability to bring order and predictability to a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations and Process Improvement

  • Map, standardize, and continuously improve core business processes across sales, delivery, support, and internal operations
  • Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement process changes that improve efficiency, quality, and collaboration
  • Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, and playbooks for repeatable activities across teams

Planning, Execution, and Coordination

  • Support annual and quarterly planning by aligning team initiatives, owners, and timelines with company goals
  • Track progress on key projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines, dependencies, and risks are clearly managed
  • Facilitate coordination between product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and HR for cross-functional initiatives

Data, Reporting, and Governance

  • Define and track operational KPIs (e.g., turnaround times, utilization, process adherence, SLAs)
  • Build simple dashboards and reports that give leadership visibility into operational health and execution status
  • Support regular business reviews with data-driven insights and recommendations

Vendor, Tools, and Admin Management

  • Help evaluate, implement, and manage tools and platforms used across the company (project management, collaboration, CRM, HR systems, etc.)
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
  • Support contract renewals, vendor performance tracking, and cost optimization efforts

People, Culture, and Enablement

  • Work with HR and functional leaders to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Help drive internal communication rhythms (all-hands, town halls, internal updates) to keep teams aligned
  • Contribute to building a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the organization

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, business operations, or program management, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong understanding of how cross-functional teams (product, engineering, sales, marketing, support) operate in a B2B environment
  • Experience setting up and improving processes, workflows, and reporting for scaling teams
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel/Google Sheets and basic reporting tools; experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong bias for structure, documentation, and follow-through
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at multiple levels

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Enjoys solving operational problems and bringing clarity to ambiguity
  • Thinks in systems, not just tasks, and looks for sustainable improvements rather than one-off fixes
  • Can switch between high-level planning and hands-on execution comfortably
  • Is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end
  • Wants to play a key role in scaling a high-growth AI company by building robust, efficient internal operations
