IIHMR University, Jaipur seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as the Operations Manager - Auditorium. This role primarily involves overseeing sales and marketing efforts for the university's auditorium, which has a seating capacity of 500 pax, while also assisting with operational aspects related to hosting external events and agencies.
Qualification:
Master's/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Required Experience:
Proven experience (at least 5 years) in sales, marketing, Administrative, and operations roles, preferably in banquet sales, event management, hospitality, or related industries. Preference will be given to those having corporate tie-up experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan to maximize the utilization of the auditorium for external events, conferences, seminars, workshops, cultural programs, and other gatherings.
- Identify potential clients and target markets, including corporate entities, event organizers, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers in the event management industry.
- Promote the auditorium's unique features, technical capabilities, amenities, and services to attract a diverse range of clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability and adherence to university policies.
- Collaborate with the university's marketing and communications team to develop promotional materials, digital marketing campaigns, and advertising strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate and oversee the operational aspects of events held in the auditorium, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the facilities management team to schedule bookings, manage logistics, and handle technical requirements (e.g., sound, lighting, audiovisual equipment).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, venue policies, and contractual obligations during events.
- Supervise a team of event staff, including ushers, technicians, and support personnel, to deliver exceptional service and hospitality to clients and guests.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, financial transactions, and client communications using appropriate software or systems.
