The Operations Coordinator is a high-stakes, crisis-management role focused on the real-time logistics of life-saving supplies. You will be the central air traffic controller for relief kit dispatches, ensuring that the gap between a disaster occurring and aid reaching those in need is bridged with speed, precision, and relentless follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
  • Transport Management: Raise transport requests with internal and external logistics partners, ensuring strict SLA for vehicle placement.
  • Live Fleet Tracking: Conduct rigorous, manual tracking of shipments via direct communication with drivers to ensure real-time visibility where automated systems are unavailable.
  • On-Ground Problem Solving: Navigate on-the-ground issues such as route diversions, language barriers with drivers, and delivery delays with quick judgment.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Document Gatekeeping: Ensure 100% compliance by securing all critical documentation- including partner declarations and gate passes- before any shipment leaves the facility.
  • Process Adherence: Maintain meticulous records of dispatches using established SOPs and templates to ensure transparent reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Central Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the transport desk, warehouse personnel, and field-level partners to coordinate seamless handovers.
  • Communication Channels: Establish and manage communication loops (e.g., WhatsApp, calls) to ensure all stakeholders are updated on truck details and delivery timelines.
  • Delivery Confirmation: Proactively confirm successful deliveries with recipient organizations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Experience: 2- 4 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Emergency Response. Experience in Control Tower operations or field logistics is a massive plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory for effective coordination with drivers and blue-collar stakeholders.
  • Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with parallel communication threads.
  • Street-Smart Problem Solver: A proactive mindset focused on navigating chaos and finding solutions when standard processes hit roadblocks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Google Workspace/MS Office and mobile communication tools for real-time tracking.
