Operations Associate – Food Distribution

The Role

We are looking for an Operations Associate to manage the daily execution of our urban food distribution program. This role is strictly field-based and requires the person to handle the logistics and coordination needed to move food from kitchens to people in need. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring experience from fast-paced delivery or logistics startup

s• Field Coordination: Handle the daily dispatch and arrival of food at distribution points

.• On-Ground Management: Supervise the physical setup of distribution sites and ensure food is served in an orderly manner

.• Problem Solving: Address immediate issues in the field, such as vehicle delays, route changes or crowd coordination

.• Stock Tracking: Maintain accurate records of food quantities received and distributed

.• Staff Supervision: Manage drivers and site helpers to ensure they follow hygiene and timing protocols

Requirements

• Background: 1–2 years of experience in on-ground operations. Prior experience at fast paced food delivery services or a similar logistics/delivery startup is essential

• Travel: This is not a desk job. You will be on the move and in the field throughout the day.

• Execution Focus: Ability to follow SOPs strictly and maintain punctuality

• Communication: Clear and direct communication with ground staff and the central team.

• Tech Literacy: Proficiency in using basic apps for tracking and reporting.

• Work Hours: 1 am – 9 am
