Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) or comparable order management systems.
- Strong Java development background and proven experience with microservices-based architectures.
- Experience working with AWS and cloud-native technologies, including deployment and basic operations.
- Proficiency with XML, XSD, and web services (SOAP and REST).
- Experience with messaging middleware such as WebSphere MQ, JBoss, or WebLogic.
- Familiarity with Sterling CDT and integration patterns for e-commerce implementations.
- Good troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-tuning skills for distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Preferred
- Direct experience with IBM Sterling OMS version 9+ implementations and migrations.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Java, AWS, or IBM Sterling) are a plus.
- Experience integrating OMS with ERP, WMS, and third-party logistics platforms.
- Previous consulting or professional services experience supporting enterprise e-commerce clients.
