Role Overview
We are looking for IBM Sterling OMS Consultants with strong experience in UI customization and development for Sterling Order Management applications, particularly New Call Center, Order Hub, and Store Engagement modules.
The consultant will work closely with architects, product teams, and client stakeholders to design and implement UI capabilities within the Sterling OMS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and extend IBM Sterling OMS UI components for Call Center, Order Hub, and Store Engagement.
- Develop UI extensions using Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Integrate UI components with Sterling OMS backend services and APIs.
- Implement custom widgets, screens, and workflows for order management processes.
- Work with architects to design scalable UI solutions aligned with OMS architecture.
- Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, development, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot UI issues and optimize performance of OMS screens.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand order lifecycle and retail workflows.
Required Skills
- 3+ years experience in IBM Sterling Order Management development
- Strong experience in Sterling OMS UI customization
- Hands-on experience with Sterling New Call Center
- Experience working with Order Hub and Store Engagement modules
- Strong knowledge of:
- Angular (Angular 18 preferred, Angular 15 for Store module)
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- Experience consuming REST APIs and OMS services
- Good understanding of XML, JSON and OMS APIs
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Understanding of Sterling OMS backend customization
